Great food! We have been many Indian restaurants through our travels and this is definitely one of the better ones. For me for Indian food it boils down to three things. 1. Quality - I was pleased with the taste of the dishes we got. 2. Quantity - Many a times Indian restaurants give very little amount of curry dishes. This place have plentiful amounts. 3. Service - very attentive staff. Would recommend again!

This restaurant deserves a much higher rating than what’s shown. The condiments of the vegetable pakora and the pakora were simply exquisite. The chicken madras was to die for. Though the biryani was perfectly fine, the meat was like a cake. It was tender. I am definitely coming back.

The food and service was amazing! Everyone was so sweet! We sat outside and it was so nice. We had wine, mango lassi, naan, samosa, spicy briyani, chicken sagg and korma and tikki masala. Wow so good!!! Would recommend.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The people working here were really nice and friendly. Nusret was so appreciative we stopped in. The food and atmosphere were amazing.

We had the best experience at Taj of India. The food tasted fresh and delicious. I’ve visited many Indian restaurants over the decades, I would definitely revisit often if I lived in the area. The service was attentive and kind. Also, the music, decor and ambiance were top notch. Roy was a server and she provided superb customer care. Give them a try. Also, this was on a Friday evening, yet service was excellent. Thank you.

Excellent, amazing, and delicious. We’ve had Indian food ALLLLL over DC high and low, but Taj of Indian Cuisine is the tried-and-true place for authentic classic Indian fare you will not find anywhere else. Since my youngling consultant days at Advisory Board, I’ve come to enjoy their food for over 20 yrs now. Many places have come and gone and some have stayed, but none have excelled in preparing what I consider authentic curry as well as Taj. Sometimes one wants to have what the heart wants and Taj is one of those places I rely on when I’m craving solid Indian food. Side note, BEST samosas in town!
